(Moncton, NB—March 17, 2020) Like most members of our communities, the CHU Dumont Foundation is closely monitoring the evolution of the worldwide pandemic caused by COVID-19. As a precaution, and to protect its employees and donors, the Foundation closed its offices on Monday, March 16, 2020, until further notice. Staff will work remotely for the time being, adopting social distancing practices as recommended by public health authorities.

“For the time being we are not planning on calling on the public for donations. We are confident that the health care authorities and the Dumont UHC staff are closely monitoring the situation and will not hesitate to ask us to help meet any need related to our mission,” said Nadine Martin, Executive Director. “The best we can do at this time to support our hospital and our community is to help flatten the curve and practice social distancing. However, we are still available and ready to act if the situation merits it.”

The organization still accepts online donation at this point. Those who want to donate can go to www.chudumont.ca and click on Donate.
